      • THE WIG COMPANY opened its doors over 30 years ago in North Hollywood at the corner of Laurel Canyon and Sylvan near the Lamplighter restaurant. Owner Julie Kim is the second generation in her family to run the business, as she learned her wig-making skills from her mother, Helen, who had worked with hair all her life.
